Mount Elbrus
In the summer of 2012 I was on a tour to Russia in the Caucasian mountains in order to climb Mount Elbrus. Being the highest mountain in Europe and quite high (5.642 m) we spend a week getting used to the landscape and the altitude before we finally set of for the summit of Elbrus. In this week we trekked through the serene Syltran Valley and climbed several minor peaks in order to used to the altitude and make camp in the magnificent nature. Everyone in the company successfully made it to the summit of Elbrus and we had clear sky and uninterrupted views of the Caucasian mountain range rewarding us for our effort.
