Lines
A line in snowboarding refers to the desired route down a mountain when freeriding. Choosing the right line prevents hitting rocks, dropping unintentionally over big cliffs and makes you come safe down the mountain in the most enjoyable way.
And it is all about the line. Finding the good spot to drop in the virgin snow and imagining the ride down. The drive to the mountains. Gearing up. Hiking up. All the energy spend. When hitting the line down the mountain – nothing else matters. Everything comes back and you make it count. But the chosen line is also a course of identity and impact, a choice made manifest in nature.
Then the new snow washes every line away. We start over.
